It is not easy to read the third volume of a trilogy without knowing anything about the underlying story. I confess that I spent the first 40 or 50 pages without understanding a lot of what was happening. Kudos to Martin Matthews, who in the course of the plot managed to let me have an idea of what happened before. After I managed to get a grip on the story, it ran fast-paced and well, even it some loose ends remained. (I like to end a book knowing that everything present in the text eventually has a conclusion...) Matthews brings the concept of virtual reality very far, and there are some nice ideas. I believe that people who like action science fiction will appreciate this book!
