Kate Brian: The Complete Guide To IVF (2010, Piatkus Books)

Review of 'The Complete Guide To IVF' on 'Goodreads'

While this book includes some brief personal stories, including that of the author, it is mostly a detailed explanation of the IVF process, which I found extremely helpful. It includes a chapter on complementary therapies, which are treated with the right dose of scepticism, and a chapter on the emotional impact of IVF and infertility, which is often neglected.
Definitely more useful than the much advertised [b:Zita West's Guide to Fertility and Assisted Conception: Essential Advice on Preparing Your Body for IVF and Other Fertility Treatments|8213762|Zita West's Guide to Fertility and Assisted Conception Essential Advice on Preparing Your Body for IVF and Other Fertility Treatments|Zita West|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1328834079s/8213762.jpg|13060895] and a good read before [b:The Essential Fertility Guide|26330769|The Essential Fertility Guide (Essential Parent Company)|Robert Winston|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1442613781s/26330769.jpg|46339491].
