The Art of Vintage is a fascinating insight into the mystique, the art and the history surrounding twenty legendary vintage champagnes produced by Perrier-Jouët champagne – one of the most famous champagne houses in the world, well known for its Cuvee Belle Epoque and its distinctive bottle.

The book is organised into twenty chapters, commencing with the oldest vintage champagne of 1825, and culminating with the first vintage of the new millennium in 2002. Each chapter contains notes and recommendations by wine critic and Sothey’s Master of Wine, Serena Sutcliffe. This luxurious book also features a history of the house of Perrier-Jouët by historian Jean-Pierre Devroey, together with art specialist Federico Simonti’s reflections on art and fashion trends of the period, as well as author and journalist Leslie Geddes-Brown’s insights into the events and iconic moments from 1964 to 2002.
